Our first location at 5371 Allentown Pike in Temple, was started in 1995. This was a prime location as it was located along a major artery into Reading and Berks County. Visitors and potential customers coming from New York, Allentown, and all towns north of Berks County drove by our office. Although not many out of town people were buying in Berks County at that time, Berks quickly grew and more and more buyers rushed in to see what was available. Having the office open 7 days a week made it convenient for weekend visitors to stop in and see what homes or commercial properties were available as the Internet was not widely used yet.
Century 21 Call First began to grow quickly and earned its first Centurion Award from CENTURY 21 corporate in 1998. At the time, this was the highest award an office could receive in the CENTURY 21 system. As our office grew more, we quickly saw the commercial real estate market was heating up in Berks and we started a commercial department within the office.
In 2005, Century 21 Call First announced they were opening a second office. This one is located at 1204 Ben Franklin Hwy in Douglassville. Ben Franklin Hwy is also known as Route 422 and is another main artery into Berks County. Visitors and buyers alike drive in from Philadelphia, New Jersey and towns south of Berks County and drive by this 2nd location. Now Century 21 Call First could capture more buyers coming into our area by having two strategically placed offices.
While other companies were down sizing, closing down, and merging with others, Century 21 Call First saw the opportunity to grow and become more successful. Finally, in 2008, Century 21 Call First opened it's third office. Even though Douglassville was close to the Montgomery County border, buyers and sellers still liked having that "hometown" realtor feeling. We opened our newest office at 2047 E High Street in Pottstown to help our Montgomery County buyers and sellers.
Today, Century 21 Call First continues to run 3 offices in Berks and Montgomery Counties. With nearly 100 agents strong, we service Berks, Montgomery, Chester, Lehigh, Schuylkill, Lancaster, Lebanon and all surrounding counties.
